Discussion Panels

Rob Draper, founder of Vision Mill Studios, discussed the use of high definition video. He covered HD as a medium and explained how it works. He then discussed he uses it in his personal work in a variety of areas, such as broadcast internet, television, and big screen. Draper gave his view on where the technology is going, how it can be used in the future.

The panelists gave their view on the current state of filmmaking in Maine. They discussed past, present, and future projects of scopes large and small. Coming from different areas of the field, the three provided the audience with a rousing debate on how filmmaking in Maine should be, its challenges, and how the industry should grow in years to come.
