
The 1st Annual Bangor Film Festival
The 2007 BFF, hosted by Shadow Puppets Entertainment and River City Cinema took place from December 27th through 29th and featured a full schedule of events.
Opening night featured three shorts: Bulldog (Director: Coby Toland), St. Christopher's Code (Director: John Sammon), and concluded with The Legend of Cody Collins (Director: Seth Gass).
The Saturday program began with student films from the Windover Arts Program and continued in the afternoon with: Vacationland (Director: Lance Edmands), and Space Theatre (Director: Sherman Kew). Later, the Shadow Puppets Entertainment feature The Mushing Mill (Director: Joshua Gass) was screened.

Saturday afternoon also featured two discussion panels. The first, "The HD Workflow in Film and Television," was held by Rob Draper, the founder of Vision Mill Studios. For the next discussion panel, "The Maine Film Scene," Draper was joined by Greg Gadbury from the Maine Film Office and Cameron Bonsey, actor and former casting director.

After the discussion panels, films from the First Annual 28-Eighty Film Shootout were screened. Teams had 48 hours (2,880 minutes) to conceptualize, write, shoot and edit 8 minute short films. Each team had to include a common piece of music, Naughty Hula Eyes.
